Did you just check into the Days Inn and you are starving? Not to worry, there are several great places around the hotel that we tried out and we love them. Have a look at the list of restaurants we created just for you and let us know about your dining experience.

Butcher & Bullock’s
The pub is connected to our hotel and the guests can enter directly from the hotel lobby. Easy! The food is great and you have a variety of options, whether you feel like a burger or a salad. If you feel peckish and want to share an appetiser, we recommend the nachos which are delicious and the portion is huge. Another upside of Butcher & Bullock’s is the service; the bartenders are skilled at getting your cocktail just right. Keep in mind that this is a sport pub so whenever there is a major sporting event, this place will be packed and loud. Don’t forget to stop at the front desk and get your coupon for 20% discount on the food.

Cactus Club
Cactus Club is a classic. It is a very “Vancouver” place to eat and it is one of our favourite places to hang out after work. Whether you pop in the restaurant during a happy hour or on a busy Friday night, you will not be disappointed. Service is quick and efficient and Cactus Club has a great ambiance. One of our favourite appetisers is the goat cheese flatbread which goes great with any of the summer cocktails on the menu. The closest restaurant is on Burrard Street, not even a 5-min. walk from the hotel. Let us about your experience!

Joey
This is a hip chain restaurant and if you choose to eat here, you are in for a treat. The restaurant in the Bentall centre is busy most of the time and even though the service is excellent, it might not be as fast as you expect. If you are up for a dining experience rather than a quick lunch, this is a good place to go.

De Dutch
De Dutch is one of our favourite brunch places only 10 min walking distance nearby the Canada Place. The restaurant is located close to the water offering an amazing view of the seaplanes taking off and landing with the mountains in the background. The servers are knowledgeable and take a good care of you, not to mention a continuous coffee refill. The menu is simply amazing and it gives you a variety of options to choose from deliciously looking meals! We definitely recommend eggs benedict and if you feel like a desert, share a maple syrup pancake with your friends and family!

Chewies Oyester Bar Coal Harbour
Only a short walk away, Chewies Oyster Bar is a great choice for all the seafood lovers. This restaurant is famous not only for their oysters, but for an amazing service, too. The servers are relaxed and will always crack a joke.  If you order a glass of wine, you might find it amusing that it is poured to the rim of a water glass instead of a regular wine glass. We love their happy hour, but it can get pretty busy as everyone is here to enjoy the buck-a-shuck oysters deal. If you’re not an oyster fan, there are plenty of other options on the menu. Why not give the croc dish a try?
