Vancouver is a farmers markets paradise, so if you love to shop local and fresh produce year-round, this is the right place. You can find a farmers market in most neighborhoods, held on different days to accommodate the demand for the goods. Growers, bakers, farmers and craftsmen, all working together to bring their merchandise straight from their fields and workshops to you.
This market is open over the winter and spring. Over 70 vendors offering their handmade and/ or locally grown goods each week won’t disappoint your appetite for delicious produce.

The Hastings Park Farmers Market is not as large as the Riley Park/Nat Bailey Winter Farmers Market, but still worth checking it out. The parking is free for market shoppers at Gate 2 off of Renfrew St.Parking at the PNE. Let the parking attendant know you are going to the market and they will waive the charge.

The Granville Island Farmers Market, previously known as “Truck Market”, is the most established and oldest of its kind in Vancouver. It has been serving people in Vancouver for 29 years. The visitors can enjoy more than 30 stalls in the summer months selling locally grown fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh baked goods, jams, sauces, and cheese. The public market next door should be your next stop once you’ve finished strolling around the farmers market. Recently the market has expanded its offering to local breweries, wineries, and distilleries, too.

Remember that the parking is free for 2 hours in Market parkade with a ticket.

WE Arts stands for the West End Arts Society that is hosting a weekly Saturday Art Market. The purpose of the is to connect with many West Enders, Vancouverites and visitors over the summer and fall months. 50% of the artists are West End residents, showcasing local and regional craftsmanship and talents.
