This summer Vancouver is calling all theatre lovers to come to enjoy a plethora of live theatre options. 

THEATRE UNDER THE STARS

This year Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS) will be hosting Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella and 42nd Street. Audiences will have the opportunity to watch these shows on alternating evenings and experience a night full of song and dance. 

Catch Cinderella in a Broadway adaptation of the classic turned magical musical. This show is sure to make your dreams come true in this unforgettable evening filled with evil stepsisters, magic pumpkins, glass slippers and even a fairy godmother. A show fit for families, couples, or even a girls night out, this classic is sure to fill you with dreams of happily ever after.

42nd Street is a musical about a small-town girl, Peggy Sawyer, who is fresh off the bus and living in New York. Follow Peggy as she experiences the glitz and glamour of being on Broadway. Peggy is just another gal in the chorus line but when the leading lady gets injured, it might be the opportunity for Peggy to gain the role of a lifetime.

BARD ON THE BEACH

Bard on the Beach is back this summer and will be showcasing a variety of shows from dramas to comedic musicals showcasing plays such as Macbeth and As you Like it as well as Timon of Athens, and Lysistrata. 

Catch Shakespeare's Macbeth, a story based in medieval Scotland that tells the story of a General and his fate to be King. The story follows him as he struggles with the murder of Kings, friends, and family. 

As you Like it features 25 classic Beatles songs and is a tribute to love, joy and laughter. This show is perfect for any Beatles lover bringing back memories of the 1960s.
